Marco Miglioli

La luz es un elemento fundamental del espacio arquitectónico, un pilar del espacio construido.



Mis elecciones profesionales tienen sus raíces en mi pasión por el teatro, la escenografía y el arte. Por ello, me he formado tanto en el uso artístico y escenográfico como en el uso técnico de la luz, y desde mis primeros trabajos he buscado integrar estas dos facetas.

Es precisamente hacia la relación entre la luz y la arquitectura que he dirigido mis intereses desde los años en los que asistí a la Academia de Arquitectura de Mendrisio en Suiza, donde me gradué bajo la tutela del arquitecto Peter Zumthor. Posteriormente, desarrollé mis competencias trabajando en España con la compañía teatral “La Fura dels Baus” y en Milán con Marco Filibeck, entonces «diseñador de luces» del Teatro alla Scala. Durante once años, colaboré con el estudio de iluminación “Ferrara Palladino Lightscape”.

En síntesis, mi trabajo consiste en iluminar una arquitectura o una obra buscando interpretarla, contar una historia, sugerir emociones y decidir qué destacar con luz y qué dejar en sombra, no solo en grandes proyectos, sino también en espacios domésticos.

The Cross, an artwork between painting and sculpture, was placed within an architecture which, through a succession of spaces, gives a sense of depth, recalling the sequences of rooms in noble Renaissance palaces. Kupferstichkabinett, Berlin 🖋️ This autograph drawing featuring the half-length figures of the Virgin and Saint Peter highlights how Raphael often created processional crosses during his adolescence.   • “Geo Poletti’s Still Life” March, 1 2019 – March 24, 2019 Palazzo Reale in Milan Objects come to life in a space defined by solids and voids, light and shadow and take on a meaning that goes beyond their practical function. We wanted to remember their original and “familiar” location. Some unadorned rooms of the “Palazzo Reale” were therefore chosen for their arrangement, in which the lighting of the paintings gives maximum prominence to the works, allowing to half see the rooms, although very beautiful, just from a glimpse.
